As we are attempting to recover from the economic crisis, young people are still three times more likely to be unemployed than old people are, a serious social and economic challenge. One of the ways to bring more young people into the workforce is to inspire and support their entrepreneurial efforts. While it is clear that we need to create more financial tools to support youth entrepreneurs, we know very little about what young people expect from support agencies and what types of support are most beneficial. This project examined the support services offered by a youth organisation and the needs and expectations of youth entrepreneurs in their social venture creation journeys.
